Charter Communications (now known as Spectrum) is one of the major providers of telecommunications and cable networks in the USA. Charter offers a webmail service through its Internet Spectrum Subscription packages. Subscribers with each Spectrum account are able to build up to seven email addresses.

However, new users who have created a username for the Spectrum receive a free email address which is their username for the Spectrum followed by @spectrum.net. For example, if your username is Noah. Sage, then your email address is [email protected]. Customers who signed up before the service is re-branded can continue to use their charter.net credentials to access their account and continue using their @charter.net email address.

• If this is the first time you have signed in, or if you are a customer of a company recently merged with Charter Communications, you will be able to see a form requesting your ZIP code so that you can be directed to the correct login page for your particular service. If so, type your ZIP code, and click Continue.

• Please enter your username or email address for the Spectrum. Click the Create Username button and follow the on-screen instructions and type in your password if you haven't created a username yet.

• Your Zip code, account number or telephone number and your last name are there.

• Tap Next, to continue.

• You'll need to answer your questions about protection.

• After that, pick Get username and your username will show up.

• This is how you restore your account to Charter.net.

• Click Forget Password? Link.

• Provide your Account Username and Zip code.

• Click Next to proceed to the next step.

• Your security concerns will then need to be addressed.

• For your verification code, you will receive an SMS too.

• Enter a password which you would like to have.

• Make sure you remember this password when signing in next time.
